Hi, I am trying to connect with my school friends from the late 60s and early 70s who were at the Star of the Sea school in Mombasa, Kenya. I was in Primary school from 1963-970 and Secondary school in 1970-1974. My maiden name was Shehnaz Hassanali and I have established a group and met up with several Gujarati and Goan friends including Meera Malde, Anjani Dave, Ida Mendonsa, Elizabeth Martins, Sheena Castelino and Meera Dedhi. I remember two Parsi girls called Marukh Dara Patel and Armin Kakaria (not sure names spelt correctly) who were in my class but I have no idea what happened to them after I left Mombasa for London in 1975. I and the other school girls would be delighted if I were able to get in touch with them through your network. The girls would have been born in 1957/58.Many thanks. CASE # 594 (Solved July 15, 2016) Hi Shehnaz, It was such a surprise to be forwarded this by a friend in UK. It brought back very happy memories of my childhood and Mombasa flooding back. I recognize all the names and remember all the girls, with the exception of Meera Dedhi. I have been settled in Toronto for over 25 years, having left Kenya in 1976 for UK and returning to Kenya in 1983. I stayed in Nairobi till 1987 and then emigrated to Canada. I would very much like to be in touch with the group, but I do not have facebook (intentionally). I plan to be in London in July and hopefully can meet up with some of you. Cheers Maharuk email@example.com

Dear Ader I am sending this on behalf of my wife Kathy. It is self explanatory and I am hoping by following these directions that we will learn the answers we seek. I have a Facebook account. Any information would be most helpful and if you can acknowledge this post I will then know I am in good hands! All the best, S THE FOLLOWING IS FROM MY WIFE Kathy Rose – Aban is her friend of many years. We cannot locate her.
I am looking for news of Dr. Aban Daruwalla, a longtime California resident originally from Nagpur, India, who had been living in the Leisure World community in Seal Beach, California. We have been friends for 53 years, since she was a Fulbright scholar and we both worked for the same newspaper in Chicago. When we were last in touch several months ago, she had been in poor health and was talking about moving elsewhere. But when I tried to reach her recently, her phone and email no longer worked. It is possible she has moved or perhaps is in a nursing home if her condition worsened. Perhaps she has passed away, though I see no sign of news about that. She had been active in Zoroastrian affairs at one time, but less so recently, I believe. If her brothers or their families or anyone else who knows her whereabouts sees this, I would be very grateful for news of her. Kathy Rose in New York Kathleen Rose email@example.com Stephen C. Hi Ader: The benefits from your site are simply amazing; I can safely extrapolate from that the same should be very true for the originator of this site. Dear Ader, Congratulations on the wonderful service you are providing to find long lost Parsi friends. I am a former student of Prof. B. E. Mirza, who taught us chemistry at Adamjee Science College, Karachi, during 1960’s. A brilliant teacher and a extraordinary academician, Prof. Mirza also co-authored the leading Chemistry college textbook along with Prof. J. B. Sidhwa of DJ College. His brother Prof. R.E. Mirza later was my professor at NED Engineering College. Unfortunately, these great academics are lost to the history of education in Pakistan. We are in the process of creating a web page to honor the memory of Prof. B. E. Mirza and are soliciting the help of all persons who knew this honorable educator. We would love to get his photographs, education career, information of the book, birth and demise dates, and other information, including names and whereabouts of kin. Please do us a favor and help us find the grand old man and document his services for posterity. Best regards, Jawaid Ahmed firstname.lastname@example.org Reno, NV, USA.
