CASE # 639 (Posted January 24, 2018)

Hi Ader, I have used your site years ago and had good luck in locating some relatives. I am again looking for relatives from my mothers paternal side – the surname being KALAPESI. My great grandfather was DINSHA MANECKJI KALAPESI and his brother was DR. RUSTAM M. KALAPESI. They had a sister called AVABAI who married a HORMUSJI CLUBWALA. They had a son called NARIMAN who became a doctor and lived in England. I really would like to connect with any decendents of Avabai Clubwala. I have a KALAPESI family tree going back several generations .The family was originally from Surat , but moved to Bombay in the 1800’s. with many thanks

CASE # 634 (Posted January 24, 2018)

Nafisa Saleem commented on the link you shared. Dear Ader, My childhood buddy Darayus Bulsara, hasn’t contacted me since last year. It is very unusual. Prior to that, he would contact me at least once in a week. He stayed in Kemp’s Corner, opposite Shalimar Hotel in a building called Keki Court (Not sure about this). His mobile is switched off and his landline is disconnected. His maternal uncle, Soli Masalawala, had a place in a Parsee colony in Gwalior Tank or Gamadia Colony Tardeo. When Soli uncle passed away, Darayus wanted the accommodation but his uncle hadn’t bequeathed it to him. Darayus was living alone and wasn’t keeping well. I have memories of him and his mom, Banu aunty, coming down from Bombay to spend their holidays with us. This sudden silence is unnerving and every day I dial his numbers. Questions arise in my mind, “What’s happened to Darayus?” Through your page I have hopes of hearing from him. Please help me.
